I look forward to your column about solutions. Beyond raising the cap on payroll, the solution must include non-wage income, as the Obamacare/Medicare deal did: 3.8% on capital gains, rents, dividends, interest, etc. The upward distribution of income stems heavily from returns to capital, which must be taxed as part of fixing social security.
